On January 24, 2004 my life changed drastically. The change was a direct result of the surgery you performed on my eyes. For many years I have struggled with poor vision. I spent many days frustrated and anxious because as a full time Specialist for Head Start and a part time student I had extreme difficult seeing.

I'm writing to tell you how pleased I am with my lasik surgery! As you know, I improved from 20/200 vision to 20/20. There is no question in my mind that you performed a miracle!
Everything about your practice and your staff were professional, from the initial consultation to the post-operation follow-up visit. The lasik procedure itself is painless and quick.
As you know, I had to have PRK lasik surgery because my cornea was thin. I also requested the “monovision” procedure so that I can see both near and far. I guess that I wasn't an easy customer. My advice to potential clients like me would be not to worry about having the PRK lasik and monovision procedure. As you explained to me, the PRK procedure will not provide next-day vision results, and will require a few weeks before the desired vision results happen. I now have my 20/20 vision without contacts and glasses, and I am grateful to Travers Lasik!

I wanted to write this letter to express my complete satisfaction and amazement regarding my recent surgery. I had wanted to do this for years and for my 48th birthday my husband gave me this gift and made my dream come true. I had been advised by several optometrists (over an 8 year period) that I was not a good candidate for this type of surgery. The reasons they stated I would not be a good candidate was because of my high near sightedness prescription and dry eyes making me unable to wear contacts comfortably.
I decided I wanted to hear it straight from the horse's mouth, so I made my initial examination appointment. I have never been so excited in my whole life. I have been dependent on my glasses since age 7 and probably should have wore them before that. Within a matter of minutes every question or concern I had was put to rest and I was told that I would be a very good candidate for the surgery.
On the way home I called my husband crying from the joy I was feeling. Within a short length of time I would be able to see without reaching for my glasses first. I can't explain all the emotions I was feeling at that time, all I know is that this was the best decision I have ever made. The first morning I woke up and I could see the time on the clock without my glasses made it all worthwhile. My husband and I have been in reading contests since.
I wanted to thank you and your staff for their friendliness, encouragement, and support. You have a great team working for you. I hope others don't wait as long as I did to make their dreams come true.

I liked the staff at Travers Lasik better than TLC!
I did a lot of research in the area before I picked Travers Lasik. I read some good reviews online and now I see why. The staff is amazing, I like them better than the staff at TLC. I had astigmatism that caused fatigue while driving or working on the computer when I wore glasses. Toric contact lenses never worked for me. I hated wearing glasses while golfing or on the boat at the beach. They would fog up and I couldn’t see. After my experience at Travers Lasik I had instant vision improvement. Less than 24 hours after surgery my eyes feel fine. I could read road signs clearly for the first time without glasses! I had to get glasses in 1992 when I realized I could not read the chalkboard in college. What a life-changing experience, and Travers Lasik was the perfect place to have that experience.

I chose Travers Lasik because of the wonderful staff, the ease of the procedure, and the wonderful aftercare. I can see without glasses or contacts! In my opinion Travers Lasik completely outperformed Lasik Plus because of their hands-on personal approach. I considered Lasik Plus but after visiting both offices the choice was obvious. Travers Lasik gave me the option for mono vision which LasikPlus did NOT. I felt like a person not a number. I was able to tour the facility and surgery room at Travers Lasik, Lasik Plus did NOT offer that. I will definitely refer my friends!!
